According to the roller diameter and bearing capacity, idler rollers are divided into three types: light, medium and heavy. All use large clearance bearings, and ensure that the speed of all rollers does not exceed 600r/min.
Idler spacing: Idler spacing should meet the two conditions of roller bearing capacity and conveyor belt sag.
35° grooved idler: the standard groove angle of the grooved upper roller: is 35°, so the most used 35° grooved idler and 35° grooved forward idler in a conveyor are.
Return idler: The standard style of return idler is still the flat lower idler, which is also the most used lower idler. Making the lower idler into a two-roller V-shape has a certain effect on preventing the deviation of the lower branch of the conveyor belt, especially the V-shaped forward-tilted lower idler has a more obvious anti-deviation effect. Therefore, as a supporting facility, many conveyors that only use forward-inclined grooved idlers without any self-aligning idlers are equipped with V-shaped or V-forward lower idlers. Most of the practice is to set up three sets of V-shaped or V-shaped forward inclined lower rollers continuously every 7 sets of parallel lower rollers. In order to more effectively prevent the deviation of the lower branches of the conveyor belt, some conveyors also add reverse V-shaped lower rollers in some sections of the conveyor.
Comb rollers are specially used for conveyors conveying viscous materials.
The spiral idler is used to clean the material adhering to the bearing surface of the conveyor belt, and its function is the same as that of the cleaner. Generally, the group of lower idlers closest to the conveyor head drum is designed as a spiral idler.
The self-aligning idler is used to automatically correct the excessive deviation of the conveyor belt during operation to ensure the normal operation of the conveyor. The installation accuracy is high, especially for the conveyors that have been set up with forward-inclined idlers, the self-aligning idlers may not be set. Conveyors that need to be set with self-aligning rollers generally have one set of self-aligning rollers in every 10 groups of rollers.
Flat idler: a straight roller that makes the cross section of the conveyor belt in a flat state, as a lower idler and an upper idler for conveying finished items.
Grooved idler: when conveying bulk materials, the rollers on the support frame are installed in a groove shape, so that the cross section of the conveyor belt is an idler in a grooved state.
Transition rollers: rollers installed near the head or tail of the machine that can change the groove angle.
Guide rollers: rollers that correct the deviation of the conveyor belt and control the running direction of the conveyor belt.
Buffer rollers are rollers that can slow down the impact of materials on the conveyor belt during feeding
